Black on Black

Whenever I don’t know what to wear and have to rush out the door in a hurry (which, lets be honest, is most days), I always gravitate towards black. Something about wearing all black is so comfortable to me – I don’t have to really worry about anything fits or looks, because black is always chic and classic. Yesterday my cousin was in town so my dad & I spent the day showing her around the city, and this look was great for wandering all over town. Plus, I recently received this adorable Studio Goods Jewelry necklace (E for me, J for my boy), which I’ve already gotten so many compliments on and haven’t taken off since it arrived. I’m obsessed!

Monogram Me

I happen to be fully obsessed with monogramming things- bedding, planners, mugs- if it exists, you can bet I’ve probably monogrammed it. I love the personal touch it adds to otherwise normal possessions, and for some reason, monograms remind me of home, even when I’m far from it.
