Layered

It actually hit 70 in SF yesterday, which is why I just had to bust out a skirt. It’s so weird to say, but I think I’ve only worn skirts or shorts a handful of times this “summer”! So when the weather report predicts high-60’s or 70, I feel obligated to let my legs enjoy it. Yesterday I also did a juice cleanse (be on the lookout for a recap post soon!) which was amazing – I feel so much lighter. (Also, please excuse my current hair situation – the SF wind has taken over and I’m just going with it).

I’ve also recently become obsessed with layering dainty necklaces. It’s almost taking over my bold bauble obsession. You’ve already seen this sweet e+j necklace from Studio Goods, but I decided to throw on my newest piece from Chloe + Isabel by Liz, this adorable coral necklace. I love how different length necklaces look together, don’t you? xx

Black on Black

Whenever I don’t know what to wear and have to rush out the door in a hurry (which, lets be honest, is most days), I always gravitate towards black. Something about wearing all black is so comfortable to me – I don’t have to really worry about anything fits or looks, because black is always chic and classic. Yesterday my cousin was in town so my dad & I spent the day showing her around the city, and this look was great for wandering all over town. Plus, I recently received this adorable Studio Goods Jewelry necklace (E for me, J for my boy), which I’ve already gotten so many compliments on and haven’t taken off since it arrived. I’m obsessed!

A few weeks ago I stumbled upon Samantha Wills jewelry and I actually could not be more obsessed. One of my favorite things in the world is Zodiac accessories (confession: I’m a horoscope junkie and a notoriously stereotypical Aries) and when these Samantha Wills jewels arrived at my doorstep, I was ecstatic. With this Ram necklace, anchor bracelet and Aries bangle, Samantha Wills has totally stolen my heart. Paired with some classic basics (a leather jacket, white tank, black and white colorblocked pants) this look is casually cool. I actually wore this look to an event last Thursday for Ann Taylor x Birchbox!
