Museum Style

Much of my time here in London has been spent touring museums and just wandering around this amazing city. The other day we stopped in at the Victoria and Albert Museum which is, conveniently enough, just around the corner from my apartment. Dressing for London can be tricky – even when the weather looks beautiful out the window, a torrential downpour can begin at a moment’s notice (we experienced this firsthand the other day). While here, I’ve made sure to layer, always have a rain jacket and/or umbrella with me at all times, and have tried to avoid looking like a tourist at all costs.

I was also fortunate enough to stop in at the Tateossian store on Kings the other day. Tateossian has incredible jewelry – this green bracelet being one of my absolute favorites! Be sure to check out their site if you’re interested in a truly iconic London jewelry brand.

Giveaway | Nyopoly

Before we get to today’s (fabulous) giveaway, I have a few housekeeping items to get to… #1 – my birthday yesterday was incredible, thank you so much for all of the birthday wishes! I had a great dinner out with my man, and tonight I’m hitting up my first happy hour as a legal 21 year old with the girls. Thank you to everyone who made my day so special. #2 – due to today’s amazing giveaway, Link Love has been postponed to tomorrow. Read on!

We’ve been blessed with (a few days) of gorgeous weather lately and I’ve been taking full advantage of it – the second it gets above 65 or 70 and the sun peeks out, I throw on shorts, a summer bag, my favorite sandals and sunnies. My favorite way to accessorize in warmer temps is with fun sandals and big rings – these Jack Rogers and this Swarovski crystal ring have been wardrobe staples of mine lately. P.S. Say goodbye to these long locks… I’m chopping my hair off in just under a month! I’m also giving away the ring I’m wearing… See more info below.

Spring Studs

In attempts to trick the universe into thinking that it should be Spring instead of grey, dreary and 40 degrees, I’ve started dressing how I want and have been completely ignoring seasonal/weather rules. So, today I pulled out the white jeans. Yes, it is only March. Yes, it is about 40 and rainy as I type this. Do I care? Absolutely not. Here’s hoping this post brings about warmer climates and sunnier days.

Black on Black (on Blue & Gold)

I typically never dress in all black or even all dark colors, but with the dreary weather lately (we’re definitely in a February slump here in Washington) it just felt right to wear the darkest colors I could find today. I hate wearing all black because I feel like I’m in mourning, so I threw in some navy blue (I absolutely adore navy and black together) and some gold accessories to keep things current. P.S. How stunning is this Daniel Wellington watch? I just received it and I couldn’t be more obsessed – keep on reading for a discount code!
